Lyne Morissette is the Founder and CEO of M - Expertise Marine. She leads the company with a clear vision and extensive experience in marine science and conservation. With a rich academic and professional background, Lyne is responsible for project supervision, coordination with partners, and implementation of research and conservation strategies. Her role also includes managing client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring that each project’s objectives are achieved efficiently and in accordance with the highest environmental standards. Her leadership ensures that the team remains focused on protecting marine ecosystems while meeting the specific needs of clients.
Project manager, drone pilot
Tommy Goupil brings technical expertise and rigorous management to our projects. As a certified drone pilot and audiovisual technician, he is responsible for capturing precise images and data for our analyses. He also manages the finances, keeping a close eye on budgets and resources. In addition, Tommy looks after the organization and security of our project databases, ensuring that information is well structured and accessible to the team. His versatility ensures that both the technical and financial aspects of our activities run smoothly.
Animal Health Manager
Annabelle Jacques looks after the well-being of marine animals, ensuring that all interactions with them take place in a safe and respectful environment. As a veterinary technician student, she specializes in the behavioral approach, ensuring that animals are treated with the utmost care, minimizing stress and ensuring their optimal health throughout projects. Thanks to her attention to detail and commitment to animal health, Annabelle makes a significant contribution to the success of field studies.
Project manager
Mélissa Martel is a Project Manager at M - Expertise Marine, with a degree in coastal zone management and a specialization in marine mammals. She is responsible for planning and coordinating projects, ensuring that each stage is completed on time and to standard. Mélissa brings her expertise in coastal ecosystem management and marine mammal conservation to ensure that projects meet ecological needs while integrating socio-economic aspects. Her work contributes to the realization of sustainable projects that respect and protect marine environments.

Samantha McBeth is an expert in marine protected areas, with a strong background in environmental science and a specialization in temperate and polar ecosystems. As an interdisciplinary biologist and environmental advisor, she focuses on the relationship between humans and the most vulnerable regions of our planet, such as the poles and oceans. Samantha has extensive experience in marine ecology and coastal conservation, and she co-founded ECOP Canada, an organization that amplifies the voices of young professionals on ocean issues. Her background allows her to easily navigate the complex dynamics of ocean policy, both nationally and internationally, bringing a valuable perspective to marine protection.
Charlene Audrey CHOUINARD
Science and nature artist & illustrator
Charlene Audrey Chouinard is an artist and illustrator specializing in scientific and commercial illustration, bringing a new dimension to the mission of M - Expertise Marine. Together, we develop an integrated approach where science and art meet to tell the story of living things. While our experts popularize scientific knowledge, she translates it into striking images, making sometimes complex concepts accessible. Her work is not limited to the marine environment: whether it's biodiversity, agriculture, ecological dynamics, polar or terrestrial environments, Charlene creates visuals that enlighten and raise awareness.
